It's nice to see you guys on our brand's blog! For those who don't know us yet - this is the Stachowicz Ready To Wear. We are a brand of designer fashion accessories. Get to know us a little closer and discover our brand's values and what our beginning looked like!
Who did it all start from?
Let's start with the most important person in our brand: the founder and designer! Łukasz Stachowicz is a Polish designer, who was born in 1988 in Rzeszów, a small city in Poland. He is a graduate of the Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design.
At this point, the designer has - apart from the rapidly developing ready-to-wear brand - four couture collections: Lamperia, Azyl, Robinson and Betelgeza.
The beginning...
The idea for the brand was born in Berlin, a few years ago, after his graduation. Łukasz was selling vintage clothes at one of the most popular Berlin flea markets, called "Mauer Park". He was searching for clothes from the 60s, 70s, and 80s in Polish second-hand shops. In summer, shorts made of cut-off denim pants were the sales hit. In the atelier (located in the old DDR radio station "Funk Haus") there were more and more trousers legs, which it was regretful to throw away in the garbage. Colorful, patterned, often virtually new denim waited to be transformed again. You could say: the excess gave rise to an idea. This is how the first unique backpacks. Due to its diversity and its ecological aspect (in the zero waste philosophy), it enjoyed great popularity among the Berlin audience and tourists. The topic was worth developing. Soon after, Łukasz started ordering more functional roll-top backpacks from his small tailor's workshop in Kraków, with which he has been working for 10 years.
It is not easy to base a business plan on unique items only. Listening to people and their needs, comments, and criticism, Lukasz created a repetitive collection of backpacks and bum bags, which are produced as short series until the material is exhausted. The brand's assumption was to create a wide range of urban accessories that were to be practical, carefully made, but also fashionable accessories, complementing the styling. A wide range of colors, and a variety of fabrics used, allows you to adjust the accessories to your individual style. We sew several pieces from one model to avoid overproduction.
The superior value which is the foundation of the brand's philosophy is production in the EU - now in Poland.
We believe that manufacturing in the region reduces the carbon footprint of shipping goods produced in other parts of the world. Compliance with recommendations related to environmental protection in production sites. Fair remuneration for the employees of the sewing room and the main team.

In our new online store, you will find our best products, selected on the basis of all our customers. At this point, collections of roll-top backpacks (with a capacity of 10 and 20 liters) and bum bags in sizes S, M, and L have appeared, and more products will be available soon! There will be, among others, multifunctional bags and backpacks made of waterproof fabrics. :)
And how about our philosophy?
Our backpacks and fanny packs are produced without animal materials, such as artificial fur and genuine leather - we love animals! ;) However, in caring for our planet, we manufacture our products in limited series, minimizing overproduction and reducing our carbon footprint. We are committed to producing our products responsibly!
