Boom Festival 2025 – music, dance and freedom in the heart of Portugal

In July 2025, by the shores of Lake Idanha-a-Nova in Portugal, something more than just a music festival will take place. For many, Boom Festival is a way of life — a space of freedom, creativity and spiritual transformation. It’s a gathering of thousands of people from around the world, united by one common desire: to experience something real. From 17 to 24 July, for eight days and nights, music, dance, art, community, and consciousness take center stage.

This year, we’ll be there too — as Stachowicz ready to wear. With our own stand and a collection created for free movement, comfort and expressive festival style.

Dance as ritual – the heartbeat of boom festival

Boom is hard to define — but one thing is clear: music and dance are its heartbeat. These aren’t just concerts or DJ sets. This is a space where sound becomes ritual and movement becomes a universal language. People don’t dance here to be seen — they dance to let go, to connect, to dissolve into something greater than themselves.

At the core of the festival is Dance Temple — a legendary stage pulsing 24/7 with organic psytrance, tribal techno, and eclectic electronica. Dancing barefoot under the open sky, on sand or grass, feels almost mystical. As the days go by, the boundary between body and sound becomes beautifully blurred.

But Boom is more than just trance. The festival offers a variety of musical zones to match different moods and rhythms:

• Alchemy Circle – for deep house lovers, dub techno explorers, and fans of hypnotic downtempo.

• Chill Out Gardens – soothing sonic landscapes, ambient sets and meditative sound journeys.

• Sacred Fire – an acoustic stage with world music, live drumming, and fire at its center.

• Nave – a space for audiovisual experimentation, performance art and immersive experiences.

Each of these spaces invites more than just listening. They invite presence, participation, and letting go. For many, Boom becomes a spiritual reset — a moment where movement speaks louder than words.

A festival that breaks boundaries

Beyond music and dance, Boom offers a rich program of workshops, talks, rituals, and transformative activities. In areas like Liminal Village or Being Fields, you’ll find everything from meditation and yoga to discussions on psychedelics, ecology, ancestral cultures and holistic health.

The festival creates a space where science meets spirituality, activism meets art, and East meets West. People don’t just come to party — they come to learn, share, and connect. For many, it’s a first encounter with ideas that shape the way they live long after the festival ends.

There are no VIP areas, no advertising, and no big-name sponsors. Everyone is part of the same temporary community. Everyone contributes to the atmosphere. That’s why Boom leaves such a lasting impression — it’s not about status, but about presence.

A sense of responsibility – boom’s environmental ethos

Boom Festival is also an example of how large-scale events can be run with genuine respect for the environment. For years, organizers have implemented sustainable solutions: solar power systems, compost toilets, water treatment, plastic reduction, and collective transport initiatives.

In recognition of these efforts, Boom has received multiple international awards for its ecological practices. But this is not a marketing strategy — it’s simply part of the festival’s DNA.

That doesn’t mean every participant needs to be an eco-activist. What matters most here is conscious choice, shared responsibility, and mindful presence.
